If we are having an atkins diet, can we drink diet coke?

For some reason you are supposed to avoid caffeine on the Atkins - I think it somehow slows the progress of the ketosis or whatever you accomplish through avoiding carbs. So caffeine free diet coke is what you are supposed to have.
