Religion vs. Death Metal? Can they go hand in hand?

I don't think listening to death metal makes a person a satanist, but I think if a person spends enough time pummeling him/herself with the type of lyrics prevalent in this particular genre of music, it could serve to drive a wedge between them and God. You are definitely more the exception than the rule. There are not many absolutes in the world afterall.
