I would love to become a "Big Sister" :)?

HI :) my name is Mandy and im 19 years old. I love kids and was hoping to join the "Big Brothers, Big Sisters" program but they wont contact me back. I was wondering if anyone on here has a child or knows of a child that needs a friend, or a good influence in their life. I could take the child out to do fun things and spend time with them each week. I live in Salem NH and do have a car, so i could pick the child up. Thank you!!!
