Greasy bangs?

I have bangs that go into my eyes a little bit, and i end up putting them behind my ear in public. (At home i usually just quickly scrap it up in a clip) The problem is i do it too much and the bangs get oily. What can i do to deter this habit? I dont want to wash my hair every single day! >.<
